About

This is where I’m supposed to put a nice portrait and a list of accomplishments so people will trust me, and maybe a photo of my kids or my dog to make me relatable.

Nope. Two reasons:

  1. I don’t use my real name or image online, and I think many people would benefit from giving more consideration to a bit of privacy.
  2. Trading in general, and crypto in particular, is full of sharks and shysters. You can’t trust a project, an exchange, a coin, token, signal system, or Paid Group Leader just because they talk a good talk.

Watch what someone does, not what they say. See what value someone gives away for free before deciding whether it’s worth paying for anything they have to offer.

I’m just another retail trader. Made some money in the First Great Altcoin Bull Market of 2017 – then lost basically all of it in the long and brutal bear market that followed. Decided that my financial future was too important to leave the responsibility to to anyone else, so took the hard road and started studying. I have a long way to go yet. But on the journey so far I’ve improved my trading, made some good friends, coded some cool indicators, and learned some wild things.

I chart, and write, and publish because it solidifies what I know and what I don’t know. And because people seem to find it helpful.

My goal is to help as many people as possible, and I believe that’s entirely compatible with transitioning to being a full-time trader, writer and inventor.

After reading all that self-absorbed waffle, here’s at least a photo of someone’s dog.

Good boy
